It's a very chilly morning here in Michigan and we all know that's a sign that fall is quickly approaching... With that, it's the perfect day to share one of our Maker Faire Detroit finds. About a month ago, on a hot summer day, Maker Faire was buzzing with creativity, ingenuity and innovation and we were relishing in meeting so many local artisans and crafters. One of our favorites,
GreenSheep Felt, had a booth offering instruction and even a DIY kit on how to turn natural wool and other fibers into soft, luxurious felt. That soft and cozy felt is then turned into a wide array of fiber arts, such as clothing, blankets, handbags and accessories. As the weather gets chilly, and my thoughts turn to sweaters and blankets, maybe I should sign up for one of their classes and create my own?
