Barclay Butera took a big shift from last Fall’s show by presenting a tailored menswear approach with the “Park Avenue Collection”. A bit “Mad Men” and a bit of “Traditional With A Twist”- We saw grey herringbone upholstery, grey velvet, menswear stripings, plaids and some subtle, embossed animal prints on leather. The walls were painted in a gorgeous inky blue- and men’s fashion illustrations composed a striking vignette. Enjoy!

Color Caffeine - Aubergine

Surely you must know how by now much we love color at Sphere Trending... We're actually quite obsessed and it shows! Our Color Caffeine is a collection of inspiring palettes and design inspiration collected from our travels to tradeshows and across the country in our 10-City Trendspotting tours. This week's Aubergine hue is a twist on the traditional deep neutral hues. A purple with a hint of black, this color is moody, sophisticated and certainly "Tradition with a Twist"! Trendwatch! High Point Markets - Mr. Brown

We're beginning a new Trendwatch! series from our coverage of the recent High Point Markets with a new collection from Julian Chichester based on the fictitious English Countryside home of "Mr. Brown". This unique line includes actual historic pieces that have been re-imagined, reinvented and re-sized. The furnishings are timeworn, traditional with a twist and have a bit of a hipster vibe.
