Retail Trendwatch - Rejuvenation, Portland OR

The revival of the American Mid-Century, Craftsman and Bungalow style homes is the mission of Rejuvenation in Portland, Oregon. Every nook and cranny of this store is full of interesting things to see, touch and admire. Period-specific color schemes, glass effects, worn finishes, authentic hardware, light fixtures and even carbon filament bulbs are for sale to help re-create an authentic design for an architecture style that celebrates Americana at is finest.

Another interesting tidbit – Arts and Crafts was not hugely received at it’s first inception and time frame. Only lasting 10 years, the design was exhausted by the time WW1 started. It’s revival has been much more popular and longer lasting than it’s original design span. We love this look, what about you?

Color Caffeine - Graystone

This week's Color Caffeine is a nod to the new neutral hues that are so strong this season. Graystone is a crisp, clean approach to the charcoal tone family and offers a touch of "tradition with a twist" when used with glossy finishes or as an alternative to basic black. How will you use this new neutral tone?
